The dive knife I purchased is legit. Sharp out of the box, great grip even with gloves, and compact enough not to get in the way. Most importantly, it makes dispatching fish quick and humane. When you’re braining a fish, you want it clean and efficient — this knife does exactly that. No hacking, no drama. Just one precise move and done. Respect the fish.

But what really makes Spear America stand out is when I go into the shop. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and actually listens. They’ll stand there and hear my spearfishing stories — whether they’re 100% accurate… or maybe grew an extra 5 pounds between dives 😏. Decent backup knife.

The knife is great does everything you need it too. However, first dive 20 mins in and the buckles came undone on their own. Customer service was great they gave me a new knife and upgraded straps. That unfortunately doesn't stop the knife from staying locked in, 2 knives on the reef somewhere cuz of poor design. This knife would be great if it had good holster. Sadly you're better off spending money on a worse knife with a better holster
