SpearPro Weight Belt with Safety Buckle

The SpearPro weight belt is made out of a mixture of materials that allow for the perfect amount of stretch (not too little, not too much) and also for a long life. Most belts in the market are either made of materials that do not flex or are made of pure latex that stretches too much and goes bad within a year. This belt is 3mm thick and can be loaded with up to 15lb of weight. The belt comes in various color combinations.

Quality Buckle and Belt

I was going to purchase the Riffe belt, but this one is clearly better quality and does not cost significantly more.

Super stretchy

This has become my favorite belt. I wasn't sure about the buckle at first but now I think it's better than the metal ones. The metal ones have the pin that goes through a small hole so all the pressure is on that hole. Whereas the safety buckle clamps down across the full width of the belt. I think this will help the belt last longer. Rather than having to grab the belt of the metal buckles and pull it off the pin you can release this belt with a quick swipe of your fingers. That's where the "safety" comes from in the name.

The belt itself is super stretchy which allows you to tighten it much more than other belts and it's still very comfortable. At depths it won't move around since it's tighter to start.

Highly recommended

I've been using this vest for about year and now I won't dive without one. The vest allow you to spread the weight out and I believe it helps with the duck dive by having some of the weight above the pivot point. I recommend not placing a weight in the top slot as it may make you a little to head heavy when breathing at the surface.
