The CETMA MANTRA Carbon Fin Blade has been specifically engineered for CETMA S-Wing Footpockets. The S-Wing Footpockets are sold separately and also available for purchase.

Carbon Fiber Blades MANTRA key features:1) 100% IM7 carbon fibre.2) The material used is 100 % Carbon Prepreg produced with hot melt impregnation system, using a micro-toughened tetra-functional epoxy resin. 3) 3D-Tech: Proprietary Technology, of CETMA COMPOSITES exclusive know-how, with high pressure, high temperature and high degree of applied vacuum, which lead to a component with 0% void level, without defects, with a uniform matrix/reinforcement ratio across the whole blade. 4) FEM Design: MANTRA blades are optimized trough an accurate Design by means of Finite Element Softwares (FEM). The Design trough FEM software allows an optimized distribution of the stiffness, with the aim to obtain a deformation ensuring the maximum hydrodynamic efficiency.5) Signature model: developed in collaboration with the world champion CWT bi fins Michele Giurgola.6) DRS (Dynamic Resonance System) innovative and exclusive CETMA COMPOSITES system. DRS implies that MANTRA blades were designed to reach in resonance in a definite frequency of kick. Resonance phenomenon is well note physical phenomenon characterizing all the structures. Simplifying, when a structure is forced with a frequency close to its natural frequency the amplitude of vibration increase in a very efficiency way (low damping). Operating by distribution of the stiffness along the blade we “tuned” the blades to certain natural frequencies. So when the blade is driven, by kicking, with a certain frequencies range the user feeling is a very low effort with an outrageous thrust. This study is done using a laser vibrometer (LDV) to perform a modal analysis, which helps in a stiffness distribution design of the blade.7) Dimensions: Width 195 mm; Length from the bending angle 742 mm; bending angle 33 degrees.8) Available stiffness: super soft (XS), soft (S), medium (M). 9) Colour choice: White, Gold, Magenta.10) Footpocket fitting: CETMA COMPOSITES, SpearPrto and Pathos.11) Water rail: CETMA COMPOSITES Water rails with variable height and high efficiency.12) Warranty: 2 years on carbon parts; 5 years if fitted with CETMA COMPOSITES footpocket ( Find out more ).13) Prizes and awards: Italian Champion 2016 CWT bi-fins -92 meters in 2 minutes and 55 seconds.

The Mantras are great. Simple amazing tech that works.

I love my Mantras, I can't believe how low effort these are. I have tried lederfins and riffes and these are in a class by themselves, When I let others try them they are blown away. Here's what i can suggest. Go to a pool with that tile line line set up. Find that optimum kick frequency by looking at the tiles go by as you swim. when you find the right kick frequency you will notice you go faster with the least effort. Then close your eyes and remember that feeling and frequency so it becomes automatic.

Get your gear at Spear America... they know stuff no one else does.

I initially bought a pair of CETMAs at Lost Winds. I was put off by the owner of Spear America because he just doesn't have a ton of time to deal with questioning newbie idiots like myself. So really what you should do is just trust Petros to set you up, and if there is a screw up he will fix it. That's the most efficient use of yours and his time. His staff respects him and want to be a clone of him.. so they know as much and catch as much fish. Don't go to a smaller dive shop - don't.

I did..twice. And both times they sold me the wrong stuff. The wrong length of line, the wrong float. Petros wouldn't so that . This smaller dive shop, Lost Winds - claimed to have a dive club, how do you have a dive club without a working/operational boat that's been in thehop for over a year???I wouldn't dare try to sell people on a membership without a boat- its like buying into a travel club that doesn't have vehicles that run . They charged for a membership with nothing beyond a small 10% discount that ANYONE could ask for and get and gave you a t-shirt for an membership fee. They have meetings which frankly teach you nothing. Spear America's meetings have a lot of people, people with boats who ACTUALLY want to invite others, good meetings with lots of giveaways- frankly a better society, Spear America will get you into ABSOLUTELY the correct set of CETMAS for what you want. I didn't listen to Spear America at first when the girl said I wanted to get the Pranas for shore diving (she had a pair and was right) , I was swayed by the long length of the Edge fins.

Then I went back and bought the Dynami-techs which again, were the wrong fin- still great for travel, but not the same , and really the Pranas with their foot angle were right, and I'll end up buying those in teh end for less money from Spear America. Don't get me wrong the two sets of CETMAS I bought were still amazing, but Lost Winds dive shop had no clue of what I really needed. Just go to Spear America, explain what you want to do and buy what they tell you... they know so much better than you. Forget the other shops.... unless you want a bulging collection of the wrong gear. CETMA dropped Lost Winds, probably a good decision to go with the better more knowledgeable shop. Nice guys at Lost Winds, but clearly outclassed by the more serious shop. Don't forget, it's you against arguably a much stronger fish..you don't want another shops wrong decisions working against you... or you could lose the fish or lose your life. Choose experience. And shops with boats that go out constantly .

Mantras for spearfishing

I recently got the mantras medium stiffness to spearfish and I really love them. They are so efficient. I have to kick less and I can glide a lot more than my previous fins

I love these fins!

I got a pair of the Mantra fins from the San Diego store. I was using Alchemy V3s, which are really good, but after 5 years it was time for something new. When I first took these out, my 30 meter dives were 6-7 seconds faster than normal. I had to reduce my effort on my ascent to compensate. They’re really great fins for line diving. The staff at SpearAmerica in SD were very helpful.

Awesome footpockets

Certainly surprisingly heavy when you pick them up but doesn’t feel heavy while diving. They are the most comfortable footpocket for my feet. I have been using them for several weeks now and absolutely love them.
